About the Club
A Colourful History
the Toowoomba Sports Club was established in 1992 as a joint initiative between;
Northern Suburbs Hockey Club,
Toowoomba Brothers All-Whites Rugby League Football Club, Toowoomba Valleys Rugby League Football Club,
Toowoomba Basketball Association, and
Toowoomba Southern Suburbs Rugby League Football Club.
The Club was originally situated in the old Coronet theatre building on Russell Street until new premises were built in Ruthven Street and opened on 5th August 2000.
A massive re-development of existing heritage buildings at the Ruthven Street site was undertaken, and from humble beginnings the Club today is now a large modern establishment of impressive design & bright decor, providing members and guests with an excellent facility.
With no Toowoomba Leagues Club or Toowoomba RSL trading in the area as Community Clubs; the Toowoomba Sports Club is the logical place for people to visit who are looking for the services provided by a licenced club. The Club provides a service to Toowoomba residents and those of surrounding regions as a base for social, entertainment, and sporting needs for all classes of membership.
A Bright Future
The Toowoomba Sports Club trades seven days a week. Trading hours are:-
Monday 9-30am to Midnight
Tuesday 9-30am to Midnight
Wednesday 9-30am to 1-00am
Thursday 9-30am to 1-00am
Friday 9-30am to 2-00am
Saturday 9-30am to 2-00am
Please note no alcohol or poker machine play is available prior to 10am
Club facilities include:-
The Garden Brasserie - 150 seat Restaurant
The Brasserie offers all day dining with various menu's available from 9-30am throughout the day up until 9-00pm, Great quality, and great value dining for all the family day and night.
The Great Western Bar
Offers a bigscreen TV, Keno, and full bar facilities. Situated on the top floor in close proximity to the
smoking area.
The Sports Bar
Open 7 days and 5 nights with Sky Channel Racing, full TAB facilities, pool tables, Fox sport/Austar, and a media wall for superb viewing of your favourite sport. Join in on the friday night raffles, enjoy the full bar facilities. or kick back and watch the races.
Gaming Machines
156 poker machines offering a diverse range of gaming product. Try an old favourite, a jackpot link, or a new modern experience. All denominations 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c, and $1-00 games. We pride ourselves on our Poker machine fleet, and that's why the Sporties is "The Only Place to Play"

Bottleshop
For the convenience of members we offer a limited range of takeaway product in our Bottleshop. Purchases can
only be made to Club members and trading hours are 10-00am to Midnight, seven days a week.

The Club operates three KENO terminals for the entertainment of our patrons. KENO is also displayed throughout
the venue for ease of viewing
BINGO
Four great Bingo sessions held at 10am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. All welcome - cash prizes
